I'd like to use the joomla image override for EasySocial for the default avatars and covers that are located in the joomla/media/com_easysocial folder. What would the proper path be for the template? For example for the existing file:
media/com_easysocial/defaults/covers/user/default.png

I've tried unsuccessfully:
templates/elegant/images/com_easysocial/defaults/covers/user/default.png
Hey Paul,

Try covert your image format from png to jpg and see how it goes?

example : templates/elegant/html/com_easysocial/covers/user/default.jpg

Hey Paul,

Perhaps you can try this documentation here and see how it goes?

Thank you. I've tried that and I purged cache in the ES admin and my browser(s). but it is still pulling the image from media/com_easysocial/...etc

Is there anything else that I should do to activate it? I'm using your Elegant template and Elegant theme in EasySocial

hey Paul,

I've tried in my locally, it work fine for me.

Perhaps you can take a look of my attached screenshot below.

If still can't, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look ?

Thanks Arlex, I've done it properly just like you. I've checked and double checked that the path is spelled correctly everywhere and it is.

I thought it might be an issue with AdminTools so I added all of the possible paths in the htaccess maker as such (which hasn't helped) under "Allow direct access, including .php files, to these directories":
templates/elegant
templates/elegant/html
templates/elegant/html/com_easysocial
templates/elegant/html/com_easysocial/covers
templates/elegant/html/com_easysocial/covers/user

also tried:

Allow direct access to these files
templates/elegant/html/com_easysocial/covers/user/default.png

Anywhere else that I should consider adding an exception?
