Image Wall Module Changes - Why?

I have just applied the latest Image Wall module for EasyBlog and I am surprised by the reduction in features from the old module. I have attached screenshots of the old options and the new options. There is now no way to customize the size and width of the thumbnails. I also can't remove the text overlay with the blog title. I also do not see a random display image option.
NOTE: The random image option is the hack that Mark provided for us a couple of years ago and it made it different each time you opened a page.
PRIORITIES
1) Is there a way to remove the text overlay?
2) Is there a way to randomize the images displayed?

Regarding the above, I've removed the text overlay from your ImageWall module. As for the random image, I've added a hack on your module to display image randomly. Below are the two files I've modified:

JOOMLA/modules/mod_easyblogimagewall/helper.php
JOOMLA/modules/mod_easyblogimagewall/tmpl/default.php

You might want to keep this two files safe so that the next EasyBlog upgrade, these customized files will not get overwrite.


As for the settings in this module, we will revise again on this module and we will see what we can do about these settings

Hi

First of all, brilliant work you did with the latest versino of EasyBlog! I used the Image Wall module the first time right now and must say that it's not really usable in the latest version. Unfortunately. It would be great if you could add some more options to the module like

Customize the overlay
- hide/show title
- hide/show shadow
- hide/show intro text

Add options
- images size
- padding
- ordering (random)

With that features in place it would be a great module.
