Hi,

sometimes when i upload multiple images via thumbnail view it takes a lot of time to upload the images and sometimes the images can't load at all. I also tried to increase the maximum uploadsize but it won't work.
Is this a bug?

Kind regards,
Van Laarhoven ICT
Hey Christian,

It really depends on how huge the image that you are trying to upload to the site. If the image is large, the GD library might take a while to process the images.

Dear Mark, Some images are large. But it seems to be a bug (sometimes). Because sometimes the images load well and sometimes not. We would like to see even large images can be quickly loaded (as upload media management of Joomla). Now sometimes the upload remains 5 to 10 minutes, turning round and round and nothing happens.

Hi Christian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can test this out directly on your site? If possible kindly include the image sample that you want to upload here.

Hey Christian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. There is no way to actually speed up image uploads if your image is huge. It really depends on your internet speed and your web hosting. I am not sure how you could speed this up with a script.

Anyway, I am not seeing any image here, can you please advise?
