When you upload an image in EasyBlog, it actually generates different variants of the image because if all the images loaded on the media manager is the original file, then it's going to take ages for the media manager to render.

In this case, the reason that you don't see these thumbnails is most likely because those images were uploaded through your ignite gallery I believe?

Yes, exactly.
My idea is/was to upload the pictures only once because I use it in the gallery and in the blog. Now it looks that I have to upload the same pictures twice

Perhaps you could upload it in media manager of EasyBlog and use the gallery to pick those images? Or does ignite gallery tries to pick all images from a particular folder?
