Hello,

When an image is attached to a comment in EasySocial, the preview image is not resized.
The preview image is very small in its comment (185 x 139 pixels) and yet it weighs as much as the original (2800 KB).
While, for example one of the preview image above is a _thumbnail and its size is only 137 KB.

Why are these preview images in comment not resized ?
Because this slows down the loading of pages a lot.

Thank you
Philippe
Hey Philippe,

I work from Mondays till Sundays Weekdays I have less time to code as I need to attend meetings and lots of planning. Weekends are the only time that I could spare time doing what I love most, coding! There is no rest day for me unfortunately but it's good because I love what we are doing so, it's fine I guess

The idea of having a thumbnail and full version does make sense but not sure if we could cook this up by 2.1. Perhaps if you could submit them on our feature requests section?

Hey Philippe,

Hm, this feature has already been there since version 2, http://imarklee.stackideas.com/Monosnap_2017-08-19_14-02-55.png . You just need to enable the option highlighted in my screen shot to resize images.

Ah great thank you Mark and Arlex !!

But what would be even better would be a image Thumbnail is generated each uploading image in a comment.

That way when a user sending a image in a comment, it will be a thumbnail image with a very small size (KB) that will be displayed.
The user will be able to access to the high definition version with a larger size (KB) by clicking on it.

The same principle as for the other images on EasySocial : _large.jpg and _thumbnail.jpg
Because I love your feature to view Thumbnails rather than Large images ! (see image attachment)
It's perfect to reduce the loading time of the pages, especially on mobile.

You also work on Saturday?
You are courageous.

Have a nice week end !
