After check on your site, it seems that, currently, we dont have those kind of feature to arranged those image if you are using WYSWIG editor(TinyMCE editor). It will order them based on it name.

Maybe you can try to us Built-in Easyblog editor and see how it goes by using 'Thumbnails' blocks and arrange them as you desired as you can see here http://take.ms/bYHC1

Hi, I still have this problem.

I am a wedding photographer I spend ages, renaming the files etc so that they are in chronological order then upload them to the blog only for the pictures to appear in a random order?

There is workaround if you using WYSIWYG editor (TinyMCE editor) to have a chronological order of gallery,
