Image Gallery Captions

Couple of things - not sure what I'm missing but I'm creating my first sophisticated blog post that included either an image gallery or image thumbnails.

For the image gallery, I've written captions for each image, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to have the captions show up. I've checked the forums and they're dated 2 years ago. Is it possible to have captions show up? I could have sworn I got them working previous night- maybe in thumbnails view.

For the thumbnails - I would think the thumbnails show up small as they should, I selected the option to load in a window - hoping that when clicked upon the picture would open in a larger window - this is not happening - I have a magnifying glass over each thumbnail and nothing happens.

May i know how exactly you added those image on your post? is using our media manager or using current editor to add those image? It seems that currently, there are no captions included on that image as you can see here http://take.ms/TUNWw. I have done some styling for you and it should works as it should now.

It seems that there are no thumbnails existed on your current blog post. And from what i suspected, you are viewing those blog post without publishing it. You are required to published them in order for you to be able to fully utilize those functions, and to be be able to click those image.

Maybe i have miss-understand your requirement above and it would be best if you can provide us with more details on how to replicate and check those on your site.

From my end, there are captions as you can see here http://take.ms/skIW5. Maybe you need to clear your browser and site cache first and see how it goes. Please advice.

Ih Abdul,

Thank you, yes for an individual image the captions work, but what about for the gallery? See attached - no captions show up on the gallery - is there a way to make this happen?

Currently, that how it behave actually, for gallery, there will be no captions included. Thanks for your understanding

Okay thank you. I did try adding a thumbnails and since the blog was published it worked.
