Hello there,

I have some very bothering problems on image management:

1.When I create a folder it's automatically created with a parent folder and the last one has a number that sincerely I'm not interested in having it (in the screenshot the folder I'm talking about is "822")

2. Is it there a way to disable the automatic creation of images in different sizes, please? If not is it there a hack to do ?

3. Is it there a way to directly/manually resize a image ? in the editor ?

4. Each time I upload an author avatar the file gets a number as prefix... how can I remove it, please ???

5. while editing a post when I want to insert an image I don't have access to my images folder structure that I've created with joomla image manager ?

This becomes quite heavy to work with easyblog and images

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,
As you can see the /2018 folder isn't displayed in My post tab ... why please:( ??

Hi Obeo,

Kindly find my response for your inquiries below:
1.When I create a folder it's automatically created with a parent folder and the last one has a number that sincerely I'm not interested in having it (in the screenshot the folder I'm talking about is "822"

I believe you've create the folder under easyblog article folder yes? and the folder with number is actually categorize the image according to the blog post id.

2. Is it there a way to disable the automatic creation of images in different sizes, please? If not is it there a hack to do ?

It is necessary, as the images was shows in various sizes all across EasyBlog to avoid site too heavy to render the images.

3. Is it there a way to directly/manually resize a image ? in the editor ?

Yes, you can edit it by click the image block: http://take.ms/OkLcI

4. Each time I upload an author avatar the file gets a number as prefix... how can I remove it, please ???

The number prefix is actually user id number, it is not advisable to remove the id number.

5. while editing a post when I want to insert an image I don't have access to my images folder structure that I've created with joomla image manager ?

Unfortunately, currently it is not possible to access the external images using composer media manager.

6. As you can see the /2018 folder isn't displayed in My post tab ... why please:( ??

This is related with inquiry #1 where you need to access the respective post to get the folder display
If you want it to display in 'my media' you should create a folder under /images/easyblog_images/(your user id)
