I understand that I can go into media manager, customise an image, and change the caption from the default setting of the file name.

However, this appears to only be designed for use when inserting individual images into the article. There is no 'save' button, only insert, and therefore no way of setting the caption that is displayed when the option is used to insert them all in a gallery view. Correct? If so, is this something that will be corrected in a future release?

Thanks
I recently purchased and installed EasyBlog 3.9. I'm a bit disappointed that I can't display a caption for photos in the gallery. Displaying the filenames is not appealing.

Hello Larry,

Thanks for your recent purchase of EasyBlog! This is actually something that we will try to improve in the near future. The biggest issue that we have is that we are manipulating the filesystem to generate this. Perhaps we could work on this in EasyBlog 5

Hi there!

Thought I'd treat this as a feature request and say - YES! Please add it. Gutted it can't do it, like Calvin I purchased Simple Image Gallery to sort this.

Thanks for a great product!
