Please see demo post on home page that illustrates my issues. The issues are bad enough that I had to take the site offline.

Keeping it real, I am discouraged.
Hi Sam,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

I just checked your site and it seems like everything is showing correctly as it should be. Refer my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/HfwCeUQ8l . May I know what is the exact issue with your showcase slider on your site? Perhaps you can illustrate the issue with picture so we can have a better view with the issue.

Hi Ezrul,

The screenshot does illustrate the issue. OK, granted, this is not a bug, it is a missing feature.

When I, as a user, select a story to view from the home page, I want to see the story on the top, not the slider. I have received numerous complaints from my users that they don't see a story appear when they click on it on the homepage, because the slider is at the top of the page instead of the post title. If they scrolled down, they would see their selected post, but their first reaction is just to scan the top of the page.

I regard this as a very important usability issue and very easily fixed. All it needs is something in general settings to disable the slider. I just don't see why the slider has to be mandatory.

Hi Sam,

When I, as a user, select a story to view from the home page, I want to see the story on the top, not the slider.

I've checked your blog post and it seems like you have made your easyblog showcase module to appear at easyblog single category menu item "careers" hence it will appear on every page that are associated with that menu item. However I can make a quick modification so that the module will not appear in entry view of your blog post but it seems like your FTP access is not working for me. Please advise.

Please see screenshot to illustrate how title has hidden overflow.

Can you try to apply the following css code inside your css template file and see how it goes, http://screencast.com/t/mBOZbDxeA ?
div#fd.eb.eb-mod .eb-gallery-title {
white-space: normal;
}

The above fixed my headline issue. Thank you.

The host fixed a CPHULK issue (sic?) with FTP. You should be able to access now using original creds at top of thread. I would really appreciate the slider tweak, but even more so, I'd be excited if there was a permanent feature in the next release to exclude from post display.

Hi Sam,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

I've made a modification inside your /modules/mod_easyblogshowcase/mod_easyblogshowcase.php so that showcase module will not appear when viewing the blog entry on your site. However it seems like your current template is still showing the title of the module as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/yh2oE4oowc . Perhaps you can consult your template provider on how to hide the module title in specific page view and see how it goes. Kindly get back to us once they have replied to your inquiry.
