Hi.

How do I rectify the messed up Easydiscuss icons on my website? I think this happened after I upgraded my template.

Which folder is the new round face icon of the EasyBlog in? I would like to use it to replace the square face icon in EasyDiscuss.

I have also a discussion forum for registered users, but the latest discussion is not supposed to appear on the Latest Discussions on the home page meant for public. How should I hide those?

Regards,
Irwin
Hi Irwin,

I am sorry for the delayed reply.

I have helped you fix this issue. It seems like there is an orphan reply in your database. So, I have disabled it and now it is not listed in the module. Can you please verify for me?

If you have anymore question, please do not hesitate to ask us by sending us a new ticket. So, by doing that, we hoping can minimize the confusion between both of us.

Have a nice day.

Yes, it seems like your current template overridden the icon styling, can you try apply this following code in your JoomlaFolder/templates/rsjuno/css/custom.css and see how it goes?
div#discuss-wrapper .discuss-toolbar .nav > li > a {
font-size: x-small !important;
}

Which folder is the new round face icon of the EasyBlog in? I would like to use it to replace the square face icon in EasyDiscuss.

Actually the Easydiscuss icon also using square face icon, how we display the icon is using the code e.g take a look of my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/oe2CugGoSSYM .

I have also a discussion forum for registered users, but the latest discussion is not supposed to appear on the Latest Discussions on the home page meant for public. How should I hide those?

You can configure this from your backend > Easydiscuss > category > select your category > permission tab > set which user group you only allow them to have permission to read this discussion.

Hope this help.

Thanks Arlex and Sam.

I have deleted the old account and added a new account for you again. Maybe it was corrupted and the error appeared.

Don't worry about not replying over the weekend. I didn't expect your team to be super efficient. I suppose your team eat and sleep next to your computer. You can reply to me during office working hours.

I had to add into the forum in case I forgot what I wanted to mention. I did try out on my own to solve the issues, but sometimes we may be searching for hours because we are not be as familiar as you with your product.

The custom.css didn't work well. The icons reduced a bit but were still overlapping the toolbar. In the end, I just disabled the toolbar, but doesn't hide the fact that the underlying features have been kept hidden just because they don't look presentable.

I replaced the round icons somehow via ftp. However, I discovered a bug. I changed the user for the existing discussion and after saving it, the screen went blank. As long as you save the discussion, it will go blank. I had to go to the previous page to continue.

As for the permissions configuring, I did try out earlier, but it didn't work. I updated it for the subscriber's portion and they still appeared on my home page for the public. I'm still trying out. Maybe it works because I did not see my last post via and administrator there.

How do I remove the discussion under the 'Latest Replies' section at http://prosperty.sg/resources/queries-for-agents? I need the Discussion 'Leaderboard', 'Recent Discussions' and the 'Latest Replies' blocks to just appear instead of sliding in. I was wondering if the sliding in parts are the features in your component.

There's a lot to look into so please enjoy your weekend and take your time Thank you.

Regards,
Irwin

Hello Irwin,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I am still not able to access your backend due the following error message, http://screencast.com/t/niVPvUnFe2 .

How do I remove the discussion under the 'Latest Replies' section at http://prosperty.sg/resources/queries-for-agents?

I believe that is a latest replies module on which you can disable it from your backend > module manager > search for easydiscuss latest replies. By the way the sliding feature is come directly from your template that offered sliding feature for your template module.

Hope these help and please advise.

Hi Ezrul.

Thanks for your reply.

The Site Details are included here in this post. Actually, I tried last weekend and I could log in.

As for the "Latest Replies" discussion. I don't want to disable the entire module. I just want to remove the discussion on the 'privacy policy' discussion.

Thanks for the tip on the template controlling the slider motion.

Regards,
Irwin

Thanks for updating Irwin, glad that your issues are resolved now.

By the way, I strongly advise users to split their questions into separate threads in order for us to manage your issues more efficiently. If all your questions are condensed into a single thread, do take note that you will get a slower response simply because different moderators are working on your issues as we do not maintain a "single person single thread".
