Ola need your help

I want to reduce the registration of users in Social Easy. I want to leave with just name, password and email. This is possible?

Another detail. the way that I'm not getting enable captha. In Administrator appears where I can carry this operation. But the Captcha not appearing in this form of registration of User.

Can you help me
Ola Claudeir Ribeiro,

Regarding user registration in EasySocial, I believe we already have 2 types of registration; quick and full. Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/IfBqiCh67 but you also can customize this registration in Components > EasySocial > Profile Types > Registration .

About "Captcha not appearing in this form of registration of User" have you enable Recaptcha in EasySocial and put the Recaptcha API key? Then, you need to configure/customize the custom field in Components > EasySocial > Profile Types > Registration .

If you encounter issues, perhaps you can provide us with backend access and ftp access so that we are able to assist you on this issue much quicker.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hello caludeir,

If your intention is just to have only quick registration for new user registration in your site, you may go to your joomla backend > component > easy social > settings > registration > select registration as quick as shown in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/wuamiPYsXB and the user registration will appear in your easy social front page just like this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/wuamiPYsXB .

Hello claudeir,

We have simplify your registration of new user in site shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/tU9xsek5tPsR, we have disable the aniversario/birthday and address field so user do not need to enter them during registration shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/PVbok6rqvi9 . But the username/nome de usuario field is required and cannot be disabled so new user have to enter that field.

For recaptcha you must go to this site: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin in order to get the API key for the recaptcha to work or appear in you site. You may have a look at your new user registration

Hello claudeir,

I am sorry for the late reply.
The reason why your site hitting this error because the required/compulsory to be filled is not complete. The Recaptcha.

I have check your site and it seems like you didn't completed creating/configuring Recaptcha apps in EasySocial. You can configure the apps here: Components > EasySocial > Applications > (search for Recaptcha) > Recaptcha Configuration. Please complete the following in order to enable Recaptcha on your site. Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/I91SStgG . You need to get the Recaptcha public and private key from http://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/create .

I believe my colleague already helps you setup simple registration page which contain Recaptcha. You can see/configure it here: Components > EasySocial > Profile Types > (Profile name) > Custom Field. Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/J35H1srpHPtl .

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hello Claudeir,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply, it looks like our forum support guys missed your post earlier (I will have a word with them as this is just unacceptable). Anyway, I just want to understand you better here, do you just want to display the recaptcha in the quick registration box? I have configured the Recaptcha field to appear on the mini registration as well and it should display now on your quick registration form as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/R2gDPgCzlgVr .

I have tested this and reconfirmed that it works fine (I have also tried to register a new account)

By the way, in the future if none of them answers your post after 3 - 4 days, please use the "nudge" feature that is included in this forum as it will send me a direct email. (But please don't abuse it )

Hi vivalditec,

Hello Mark,
could you please share with us what you did to get the reCaptcha to show on the 'Quick Registration' form?

Try take a look of my instruction how to show the reCaptcha custom field in 'Quick Registration' form.
STEP 1 : Setup your recaptcha id in your backend > Easysocial > application > recaptcha
STEP 2 : Once you setup already, go to your backend > Easysocial > profile type > select your profile type > custom field tab > find your recaptcha custom field > click edit > click view tab > Appear in Mini Registration - YES

Hope this help.
