I've made changes to the email template that I thought went out to blog subscribers, but since the edits, emails have come to me that haven't changed, so I'm guessing I've got the wrong one. email.subscriptions.html.php ?
Hello Jim,

Correct me if I'm wrong, did you mean you want to edit the template for New Blog Post notification to subscribers? If so, you need to edit this template instead: email.blog.new.html.php . Hope this helps.

Thanks. I made changes to that, but didn't see them reflected in my emails. It seems to have taken a day to change. I don't have any kind of caching enabled, but there was a delay. At any rate, those changes are now coming through. I appreciate the quick response, awesome help.

Hello JIm,

If you want to edit the mail that goes out to your subscribers it is

JOOMLA/components/com_easyblog/themes/default/email.subscriptions.confirmation.html.php

The file

JOOMLA/components/com_easyblog/themes/default/email.subscriptions.html.php

is for the admin who is notified that they have a new subscriber. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Thank you for useful question and reply. I have question related to subscriber notification email, in file:
JOOMLA/components/com_easyblog/themes/default/email.subscriptions.confirmation.html.php
I found info: "echo $blogLink" which shows following:
http://example.com/some-useful-entry.html
But my real URI is:
http://example.com/tips/some-useful-entry

I don't have Blog title and I use sh404sef (in line 86 of file: components/com_easyblog/sef_ext/com_easyblog.php I changed word EasyBlog on tips).
The question is - where can I change link in subscriber notification mail?

Hello Andy,

Can I know if you have created the blog post from the back end or the front end of your site? If you are creating from the back end, the URL might be different because SH404 does not process urls on the back end

Hello Mark,

OK, I understand. Yes, I created blog post from back end.
As I understand - better is create post from front end of website in case of using sh404sef.
Thank you for quick reply.

Yep, that's right This way SH404 can kick in and modify the URLs accordingly.
