I want to port categories my easy discuss from one joomla site to other. I have installed a fresh version on new site and tried copying the category table (xyz_discuss_category). Table got copied successfully but i am not able to see these categories in the frontend.

Note that the categories are visible in the admin console.

Hello Anmol,

You will need to copy these 3 db tables.



jos_discuss_category

jos_discuss_category_acl_item

jos_discuss_category_acl_map

Now it displays the catagories but category images are still missing. What should i do to get the images right

You will need to copy the categories avatar folder from your site into your new site.

JOOMLA/images/discuss_cavatar
