I thought you had built in a Terms of Use document that had to be approved before a person could sign up. somehow I am afraid that I may have disabled that? I need to be able to edit a document which I would also love to have available on the site, about the terms of use. Can you point me to the setting to turn this on or off and also the location of the file for editing?

Or, let me know what you suggest for this. I must have goofed as I am sure you have this! :-)

Hello Sean,

Go to Profile Types > [Click on the profile] > Custom Fields tab. Then, if the terms field is not already selected, you might want to drag and drop the terms field into the registration form on the left

Thank you Mark for pointing this out to me. It worked fine except that it sort of broke my EasySocial Quick Registration module on the home page.
What happens is that no matter which page I place the Terms in it shows up within the Quick Registration module and resizes everything.
I would like to add the terms but NOT have them appear within the Quick Registration Module on the home page. I want them to appear at the very end of the registration process. :-)

I actually found the option to not have the terms show up in the mini registration and so I checked that in hopes it would help but then what happened is the site allowed me to register a new Test user and completely bypass all of the mandatory fields. Odd.

Hi,

1. Set the field to view in registration.
2. Set the field to NOT view in mini registration.
3. Set the field to required.

If you are still having issues with this field being bypassed in validation, please provide all necessary access for us to proceed with investigation.

Ok. those are the settings I had finalized on. What is happening now is that a person is able to register on the site without filling out any of the form except for the first few fields that are in the QuickRegistration module at http://starch-smart.com. As soon as they register then the next page informs them their Registration Completed and and invites them to Activate their account.

I am wondering if somehow I unchecked some other setting that requires registration?
The Registration type that I have set up is "Require user activation"

Hello Sean,

You might want to set the settings to "Full" as shown in the screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/IpD5J3AE
