Well I have a few things I would like to ask about both of my blog sites. I have 2 sites: HighRise EventsNYC http://www.sseeventsgroup.com/highrise-eventsnyc and The Wedding SuiteNYC http://www.sseeventsgroup.com/the-wedding-suitenyc. I want to know if all of the functions on the blog site are functional and they work. My blog is customized so the easyblog element is fragmented. Can you look at both and see what you notice that is wrong.

Thank you,

Johnny M

You can go to the following urls http://www.sseeventsgroup.com/highrise-eventsnyc and http://www.sseeventsgroup.com/the-wedding-suitenyc. Im referring more to how the blog section is suppose to look like as well as some of the sections on the sidebar such as category, popular articles, subscription, and the social media buttons that are suppose to appear inside each individual blog.

Hello Johnny,

By the way, it looks like your account isn't tied up with any subscriptions on our site. Is there any mistake on our end? Would it be possible for you to contact us at https://crm.stackideas.com and provide us with the order reference and your username so that we can fix this up for you?

Hello Johnny,

You should check this with your designer to see if he could transfer the license back to you. If he doesn't want to do it, you will need to purchase it in order for you to entitle to receive support

Hey Arlex Wong, I have my developer working on other things on my website. Once he is done then we can discuss the easyblog element. As far as send you my FTP info, I need to know if this is a secure platform. I would be more comfortable if you could send me an email and we can correspond through that platform.

Hello Johnny,

Sure, please do tell us after your developer is done working on your site, maybe you could elaborate on what you mean about easyblog element. You could share your credentials on the field below where only the support team can see them.

Thanks:)

Hey Khairul,

you can look at both my blog pages at http://www.sseeventsgroup.com/highrise-eventsnyc and http://www.sseeventsgroup.com/the-wedding-suitenyc. These website's are customized. I have the easyblog component and the blog articles are included into the page. The following is a list of issues that im concerned about:

My subscription is not working
My social media buttons does not show within each article
my category list does not show on the sidebar
my popular articles does not show up as well

Also, check if there are any other noticeable issues that need to be fixed.

Hello Johnny,

I had was unable to view your website front end and backend after I change the error reporting to maximum in the backend, please advice? The FTP username as password provided incorrect. FTP URL should not be your hosting provider site. I will need FTP access to set error reporting back to none in the configuration file.

Thanks

Hello Johnny,

Happy New year
I'm really sorry that the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for us here.
I have checked in your backend system plugin, it seems like this "System - jFinalizer" caused out this issues in your side, i help you change the option HTML compression ? to Off(by pass) ( http://screencast.com/t/Ra0zhF2RhFA ), it work fine now. Please have a check.

And the category button i help you enable it from backend > Easyblog > Setting > Layout > Toolbar tab > Show categories "YES" ( http://screencast.com/t/YE4erbzYS )

Can you provide some screenshot where your popular articles does not show up in your side? Please advise.

Hey Arlex,

I understand that it was New Years. As far as the site goes the social buttons and the subscription does look like they work. However, I would like to know how I can get the RSS Feed working as well as adding a subscription button to the home page within the blog sections.

Also, regarding the subscriptions, when someone enters their information to subscribe do they get the blogs directly from that specific blog or does it get both the event and wedding blog? How can I separate the two subscriptions?

Hello Johnny,

Sorry for late reply to this,
That RSS Feed function is If you have two site (site A and site B), when site A publish a new blog post, site B also will auto publish a new blog post (mean same blog post).
If you noticed at the top of the toolbar in EasyBlog, there is a link that says "Subscribe to RSS Feed". Clicking on that would actually bring you to the RSS feeds of EasyBlog.
Then go to your Site B website Joomla backend > Easyblog > Feed Importer > click "Add" > copy the RSS feed from your site A > and paste the RSS Feed URL in Feed URL > see my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/wtisun9q > then click "Publishing Detail" http://screencast.com/t/mAQBRZmm6e28

Regarding with your separate subscriptions:
>> You can go to your categories page select any one of your categories and click "Subscribe to this category" ( http://screencast.com/t/KpqBCKCcaNEf ), then it will separate with the two subscriptions.
Hope this help.

Hello Johnny,

May i know which one subscription module is published on your homepage from your module manager? -> http://screencast.com/t/drLlAT9tE
Because i checked in your module manager, it seems like you create a lot of subscription module in your side, so i'm not sure which is under your hompage subscription module.

if you update the easyblog to the latest version will it be the same as it is with the version i have already? I dont want it to mess up anything I already have. If it something that will improve my blog section then we can do it. Just make sure that it doesnt mess up anything else on the website. I have another developer working on the entire site.

Hello Johnny,

The latest version of easyblog might or might not fix the issue, we had made a lot of bug fix and new features since then and is recommended to update. It will not mess up your settings if update unless you have modified easyblog code in some way it will get erased and you will have to apply it again.

You could download the latest easyblog here link--> http://stackideas.com/dashboard
You may need to install latest module as well after upgrading.

Thanks:)

Hello Johnny,

I had check and recheck your site and the issue is originated because of the no number plugin. Using the plugin to load the module won't load easyblog environment to let the module function properly. Easyblog does not support for NoNumber Modules plugin.

Thanks

Hello Johnny,

You will need to find a default position on you Joomla template and assign them instead of using the no number plugin.

Thanks
