Hello Jacob,

There's actually no way to disable this altogether but why would you want to disable them?

We are not comparing ourselves with JomSocial so I don't think it makes sense that we should have anything that JomSocial has Why should we add a settings that allows user to break their site by not sending any notifications at all Don't really make sense?

Anyway you can actually disable the "Send email on page load" and don't create any cronjob so that EasySocial wouldn't send any emails out from the mail queue.

Hello Jacob,

We do not currently have a settings for this as I have posted in my reply earlier We will consider this in the future if there's enough request for this. After running EasySocial almost close to a year, we have never received any feedback that this settings is required, hence we didn't actually think this feature makes sense

Hello Jacob,

What emails are you getting? Do you just want to disable the email that sends to the admin when a user registers on the site?

Hello Jacob,

Edit the file /components/com_easysocial/controllers/registration.php and at line 377 remove the codes below,

$registrationModel->notify($mailerData, $my, $profile);
