Hello Farzana Yesmin,

Thank you for your reply.

Regarding your issue, look like you are trying to update your EasyBlog and EasySocial via Joomla updater.

For your information, currently the EasyBlog single updater will not work when you try to upgrade your EasyBlog 5.4 to a major release, in this case, EasyBlog 6.0.

What you can do now is to head to your dashboard page at below link and download the EasyBlog launcher installer and install EasyBlog via Joomla extension manager. This will 'upgrade' your EasyBlog 5.4 to EasyBlog 6.0 and all your data created in EasyBlog 5.4 will remained intact.

These same applied to EasySocial. You will need to download the EasySocial launcher installer and upgrade your EasySocial to 4.0 version using Joomla extension manager.

By the way, since you doing a major upgrade on your EasyBlog and EasySocial, I strongly suggest you to do a full backup of your site before you proceed to upgrade your EasyBlog and EasySocial.

Alternatively, you can setup a staging site and replicate your current live site into your staging site and do a test upgrade of EasyBlog / EasySocial on your staging site to see if there is any issues or not after the upgrade.

The reason behind these is that, in EasyBlog 6.0 / EasySocial 4.0, we did a major revamp on the theme file structure so if you have any template overrides done for EasyBlog / EasySocial, your customisation might break.

Hope this help and have a nice day
