Can somebody show me how to allow somebody to vote. I have Vote box with ZERO votes it it for each discussion. What I have not figured out is how to turn on voting so that people can vote. Is that a thumbs up icon somewhere?

Hello Sean,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
Thanks for suggestion, I will consult this with our designer and see how it goes.

Regarding with your second question :
You can set how many day the "New" label will be disappear in your site from your backend > Easydiscuss > setting > layout > New post interval
But once any user replied, then the "NEW" label also will get disappeared. Hope this help.

Hello Sean,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have checked in your site, do you mean that you would like to allow guest user to vote it?
If yes, you can set from your backend > Easydiscuss > setting > general > voting > Allow Guest to vote question -YES
Hope this help.

Those are the settings I have already. But I have not figured out how to vote or how somebody else can vote! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I have discussions that I want to vote on and have others vote on. What should I be looking for in order to vote?
Thanks, Sean

Arlex, Can you take the Joomla login from my other open ticket? I created a password for an account I created for you but do not remember what is was. :-)
The access is on the site details of the following ticket which is also being looked at: http://stackideas.com/forums/how-to-get-the-website-field-to-display-in-my-eb-comments

Sorry for late reply to this,
Yes, that login credential is working for me.
Actually that was simple to vote your discussion, please have a check my attachment screenshot below.
The first image presented when the user would like to vote this discussion, just click that up arrow then it will show 1.
The second image vote column will show result 1. Hope this help.

Thank you so much Arlex,
I have to let you know that I had looked and looked and looked and did not figure that out. Neither have any of my site users. I have a suggestion that might help. I think you might want to change the up and down arrows to be little thumbs up and thumbs down icons. I believe the thumbs are becoming a sort of universal symbol for voting up or down on an item.

Arlex,
I have another question regarding these discussions.
1) In the index now a new label that says "NEW" has shown up on many of the discussions. Do you know if I turned on a setting for this? Also, how can I control how long a thread displays as new? Is it time based or is it based on a number of replies? Is there a setting for this. It is interesting that it just seemed to show up. My guess is that you fixed something for me. :-)
Thanks, Sean
