Hi

I've just come across this as i needed to edit an event category. When i click edit and select category i just get a blank white page with "Event Description:" in the top left corner.

I can however create new categories with no problem.

Could you have a look into this for me

Thanks

Steve
Hello Steve,

I've fixed the file field for you. Please verify this.

Hey there,

Hm, it looks like TINYMCE is not installed on the site. Did you remove TINYMCE from the site? By the way, is it possible for you to provide me with the FTP access to the site please?

Hi

I'm not sure about tinymce, if it was removed it was a long time a go. Added ftp details for you.

Cheers

Hey Steve,

I have applied some fixes on the site so that it doesn't always enforce the description field to display the "tinymce" editor. Instead it uses what you configured it to be

Can you give this a try again?

Hi Mark

Sorry to trouble you but now you have fixed the issue i have now found another problem.

Its to do with the custom Field - File

Its causing an error 500

Easier to post here than open a new ticket as you have all site details.

This is the link - http://revs-simracing.co.uk/administrator/index.php?view=events&layout=categoryForm&id=7&activeTab=fields&option=com_easysocial

scroll down and you will see the custom field.

This is the frontpage link - http://revs-simracing.co.uk/events/item/441-rf2-fwscc-round-1-adelaide.html

Not sure why it should cause an error.

Cheers

Hello Steve,

I've checked the page that you mentioned, I can't see any error 500. The page loads fine here: http://screencast.com/t/28eQYrXH . Am I missing anything? Please advise.

You need to login to the site as admin

Go here - http://revs-simracing.co.uk/events/item/441-rf2-fwscc-round-1-adelaide.html

Edit the event.

Scroll down until you see "Weather Forecast"

Click "Choose File" (. jpg or similar)

Update Event

And you will get server error.

Hope that helps.

Cheers
