I try to run the upgrade process and get the following response:

Starting upgrade process ...
Downloading patch files ...
Updating Foundry Framework
Error Please enter the correct API key. You may generate it from http://stackideas.com/account/my-account.html ...

I have of course copied andpasted the API key and validated that my subnscription should be active - so - why can I not upgrade?
Hello,

Upgrading from EasyBlog 3.8.x or older to 3.9.x requires a full uninstall / installation. The reason is because there are some core files which were modified in this release and running the updater would actually break things.

Rest assured that your data would not get erased when you perform an uninstall. Theme files and other core files would however get erased, so if you have made any modifications, it's best to make a backup of the modifications first.

Hope this helps.

Hi

I have now uninstalled and cannot install - I just get a message saying "There was an error uploading this file to the server."

There is nothing in my apache server error log - any further ideas?

Hello Poul,

You might want to check your upload_max_filesize. It should be at least 8M to install Easyblog. You can also install using other method: http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/installation/installing-from-directory . If you face any problem, you can provide us your backend and FTP access so we can install it for you. Please advise.
