Have tried all the proposals on here, no luck. Truncated the ACl table but then cannot get into ACL to save config as it goes straight to upgrade.

If I try directory upgrade it fails at Initializing Database with message: Sorry, there was some errors when trying to extract the queries.zip file. Please contact our support team

Any urgent ideas?

Thanks

hey Cliff,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

I have tried to access your site, but hitting this :
This web page is not available

By the way, can you try this reference link solution and see how it goes?

If still having the issue, can you provide us with your PHPMYADMIN access as well?

HOWEVERE< on the front end we now get the error:

Unknown column 'a.access' in 'where clause' SQL=SELECT a.*, 1 as `featured` FROM `ut4hl_easyblog_post` AS a INNER JOIN `ut4hl_easyblog_featured` AS c ON a.`id` = c.`content_id` AND c.`type`='post' WHERE a.`published`='1' AND a.`state`='0' AND a.`access`='0' AND (1 <= (select count(1) from `ut4hl_easyblog_post_category` AS acp INNER JOIN `ut4hl_easyblog_category` as cat on acp.`category_id` = cat.`id` where acp.`post_id` = a.`id` and ( ( cat.`private` = 0 ) OR ( (cat.`private` = 1) and (0 > 0) ) OR ( (cat.`private` = 2) and ( (select count(1) from `ut4hl_easyblog_category_acl` as cacl where cacl.`category_id` = cat.id and cacl.`acl_id` = 1 and cacl.`content_id` in (1)) > 0 ) ) ) )) ORDER BY a.`created` DESC LIMIT 10

UPDATE:

I went into back end and ran maintenance script on database - OK, then page worked, however no blogs appeared
I then unpublished all blogs and re-published, now they work.

Why is it so difficult to upgrade, surely you can fix this in the distribution upgrade package?
