Hello I need a tutorial on the different Post Formats and how they look. For now I am using the default theme which I am very happy with. I have been practicing with the Standard Post format with one picture and all looks well. But when I select the Photo Post Format for the same post, I can no longer see the picture.. just an empty white space... Not sure what I am doing wrong. I would like to see how this photo format differs from the standard post format, but I first need to solve this problem of why the photo is disappearing. Thanks for any assistance

Regards
Scott
Hello Scott,

I had already fix for you the missing file issue in the previous post. The photo format is not meant to insert blog image, posting in photo format is similar to post your image with micro-blog/quick-post in the front end where there is no option for blog image.

We have to display all option at the back-end though.
To insert image to your picture format blog is by using insert media and into the main content of post.

Hope that helps,

Thanks:)

Hello Scott,

I had fix this issue for you, it appears the folder that the image is trying to save is not there.
JOOMLA\components\com_easyblog\classes\mediamanager\types\image.php on line 454

if(! JFolder::exists( $storagePath ) )
{
JFolder::create( $storagePath );
}

I will include this in the next update

Thanks:)

Hello Khairul,

Not sure what what you did, but I still have problem unresolved. Did you fix the missing file or must I fix it. Please see screen shots.. On homepage the PHOTO POST FORMAT blog post shows no picture and when you click to open the blog post, you also see no picture. Please advise on solution, thanks

Hello Khairul,

Can you confirm that you installed OSE FileManager on my site in order to resolve my problem? [and forgot to remove it?]. I was shocked to find a component that I did not install present and was very concerned that maybe a hacker installed it. Please see attachment, and let me know if it could have been you. No harm done, I have already removed it, just gave me a scare.

Regards
Scott
