Hello,

Before I set up Easysocial , after that I removed. But I found that component still show follow picture 1 .
And when reset up again . I found errors follow picture 2. Please advice for set up complete.

Look like when you un-install EasySocial, the uninstallation wasn't complete? It seems like the db records on your Joomla menu (jos_menu) still there. Is your db user has the privilege to delete records? Is this issue happen as well if you install other 3td party component and uninstall. Will you get the same issue?

Hello Arlex,

Yes, Arlex . I removed Easysocial by Extenstion manager > manage tab > and select all easy social then Uninstall.
after that when I install again. I found follow picture 2.

Yes,I think the same, look like it uninstall was's completed.
I want to reinstallation again.

Hi EaungfahJ.,

If uninstalling other 3rd party component giving you the same issue, then most likely your db user do not have any 'delete' privilege', You need to grant the delete permission to your db user that you've specified in your joomla configuration. If you are unsure of how to do this, then most likely you have to go back to your hosting provider and seek for their assistant regarding this matter

Hi Sam,

Now I check with my host and I can manage my database. What file should I delete ?
Now I found that I can't deleted all file. Please see on attach file 01.
And when I click on Menu > Main Menu I found error follow attach file 02.

How to delete file for installation complete again.

Em, you dont need to delete any files. You just need to delete the records from your jos_menu tables. Anyway, I went to your site and it seems like you've removed the menu items from your Component listing

By the way, i tried to install EasySocial for you but it seem some error. Can you pass me your ftp account so that I can investigate your issue further?

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

After taking quite some time to investigate your issue, apparently there is one 'left over' record in jos_assets table which prevented you to re-install EasySocial
I've removed that particular record and I am now able to re-install EasySocial on your site

Please verify again.

I have check your site and it seems like you are using a old Easyblog calendar module. I have helps you update this to the latest.
And it seems like your Easyblog doesn't load javascript file. Can I have your permission to update your Easyblog? Do you have made modification and if there is any, can you backup all your modification first before I update Easyblog?

Hello,

I'm tried to updated by download latest version and update new version. Today I have check version found that program update component only, But doesn't update module and plugin. You can update its. And Please send howto and file for update to me. So I can update on production site of the same.
This site is test site before true update on production site.
Now I had backup this site already. You can update this site.

Regarding your issue, look like when EasyBlog attempt to load the page, most of the ajax request was blocked. Please see http://screencast.com/t/sezHBIwhc1g.
Do you have any security module installed in your apache server? If yes, can you temporary disable it or add EasyBlog component into the whitelist so that when EasyBlog attempt to make an ajax request, your server will not block the request.

Please be advise.

No,I don't have any security module install on my apache server. No, I can't temporary disable it or add EasyBlog component into the whilelist. Where does whitelist?
What does it mean? My server will not block the reguest, We normally release.

Regarding your issue, after going through debugging process, it seems like the url that saved inside EasyBlog configuration was incorrect. Thats also when, when doing a JFile::write process, 'something' changing the url from http://www.yourdomain.com/kmt/index.php into http://yourdomain/kmt/index.php. See the 'www' and '.com' is missing from the url.

May i know if your hosting provider from SiteGround? If yes, can you disable the 'staging' feature from your server? We actually encountered the same issue from our customer and the only way to fix this is to disable staging feature from SiteGround.

What does it mean 'Siteground'? If you mean that Web hosting : http://www.siteground.com/ . If yes,
No,my hosting doesn't provider from SiteGround. We have our hosting so I can't disable the 'staging' feature form my server?

Yeah, I am referring to your web hosting provider. Em, look like I've have to set your site url in your Joomla configuration.php the $live_site and in order to make it work.


public $live_site = 'http://yourdomain.bts.co.th/kmt/';

Can you setup a FTP account for me so that I can investigate your issue?

Also, try to edit this file 'JOOMLA/configuration.php' and look for the $live_site setting:


public $live_site = 'http://yourdomain.bts.co.th/kmt/';


and change the link to:


public $live_site = 'http://yourdomain.bts.co.th';


Let me know if the above fix your issues or not.

My site buit form our server and run on intranet for use internal only all both ( test site and production site).
So my site is internal website which public out for you and all user which have authorize.
I'm try by delete code

public $live_site = 'http://mydomain.bts.co.th/kmt/';

Now I can login to mysite all frontend and backend. and I think easy blog can work completed.
For FTP , I can't set account for you. But on mysite had install extplorer component. I hope this help to you can investigate my issue.

Now I have isssue about easy social only. I think on easy blog will be work completed. Thank you for your advice and your team.

While I was debugging your site, seems like your site is not accessible due to changes I made in configuration.php. Can you change the $live_site in configuration.php to:

$live_site='';

Don't remove it. Just leave it empty.
