Site I'm working on will auto post to Twitter, but I can't for the life of me get past these errors from Facebook without submitting for formal approval from Facebook.

The site is http://www.887thebridge.com/

When I go to Sign in with Facebook I get this error:

"The following permissions have not been approved for use: user_likes, manage_pages, user_groups and user_status.

If you make your app public, they will not be shown to people using your app. Submit them for review or learn more.

88.7 The Bridge will receive the following info: your public profile, status updates, groups and likes.

This does not let the app post to Facebook."

When trying to manually submit a post to Facebook I get:

"(#200) The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action"
Hello Steve,

Try replace this attachment file in JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\classes\facebook\helper.php
then no need submit the apps for review, just normal configuration like before and see is it can success autopost to Facebook?

Hello Steve Gorney,

Sorry for late reply to this,
May i know how to configure your Facebook apps before hitting this issues?
I have tried to access in your Facebook account, i getting this "Please Confirm Your Identity", can you send us with your identity code so we can access in your Facebook account and investigate this?

Also i have tried to access in your Joomla backend, but it seems like you provided that login credential is not working. Please advise.

Under optional info I've included some login details. I hope that is what you need. If not, I can supply screenshots.

Hello emilkopatsch & steve Gorney,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply,
It seems like Facebook has changed the app behavior and in order for you to "post" to your "Facebook page", your app needs to be submitted for review first You can review their guide here, https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/review/
Try submit it and see how Facebook response.

Arlex,

I submitted to facebook several times. They replied with the following:

Notes from our review team
Web
You do not need to request these permissions because your blog or CMS is integrated with an app that you admin. As an App admin, you can already access these permissions and post to your Timeline or a page you admin. You can provide access to additional users by adding them as developers of your App.

They say we have permission and the component says we don't. Please advise.

Thanks for your patience. Actually I'm still finding the better solution with this since the new Facebook API released.
May i know where you received this result? Is it after you submitted that review then the Facebook return this feedback?

It is under Status and Review. They added that note after my 3rd attempt for approval. I've attached a screenshot and the ID code.

Hello Steve Gorney,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Thanks for keep updated this Facebook feedback status for me, actually I also have created a Facebook apps for waiting for approval and trying to figure out how to make it work in Facebook new API 2.0.

May i know how you explained to Facebook what you want trying to do in this apps and did you provide some screenshot for submit review?
Because I'm not sure that when i click "more information here" then hitting this :
"Sorry, this page isn't available

The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed."

Also if you don't mind can you report this thing to facebook developer and see why this link was broken and how to make the permission approval at this point of time. Let's us figure out together.

The image title Autoposting is the last change I made to my submission and is what I believe got the above response.

Notes for publish_actions

This is only for our Joomla Site, but I'll try to explain.

1) Go to http://www.887thebridge.com/administrator/
2) Login as Username: EasyBlog Password: jtYG!Qm<W33F
3) Go to Components > EasyBlog
4) Click on Autoposting
5) Facebook > Standard Settings
6) Sign into Facebook
7) Approve Access
8) Click on Blog Entries
9) Click the Facebook Icon next to any Published Article under Auto Posting
10) This should post the title and intro text of that article to facebook.

Notes for manage_pages

This app will post to our users page specifically. We need to access our users pages so as to not post to their personal page.

This is only for our Joomla Site, but I'll try to explain.

1) Go to http://www.887thebridge.com/administrator/
2) Login as Username: EasyBlog Password: jtYG!Qm<W33F
3) Go to Components > EasyBlog
4) Click on Autoposting
5) Facebook > Standard Settings
6) Sign into Facebook
7) Approve Access
8) Click on Blog Entries
9) Click the Facebook Icon next to any Published Article under Auto Posting
10) This should post the title and intro text of that article to our facebook page (Page ID: 389004506544)
