I can't customize the category title

I created a menu item linked to the category, and I put a custom title but does not appear, because it takes the title of the category.
Why?
is a bug?

I have applied some fix in this file -> JoomlaFolder/components/com_easydiscuss/helpers/helper.php

Can you give it a try now and see how it goes?

Do you mention Easyblog or Easydiscuss?

Perhaps you can provide us more details regarding this?

#3. which category you created in menu item
#4. how to replicate this

Do you mean you would like to display your custom title in your browser page title?

you would see the exact custom title, why not take one of the menu item?
