I am trying to set up Easydiscuss so public with no login can ask a question

The Ask a Question button appears, but when I click on it, it tries to go to Joomla registration, which I have turned off.

I would like people to ask question and reply only having to give user name and email, but not be registered.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

To allow your guest ( non-registered user ) to post new topic, you will need to enable the 'Add new question ' ACL for your public group. To do this, go to your EasyDiscuss backend under ACL -> [select public group] and enable the option 'Add new question'. Please see http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-12-11_1912.png

I did that, but it still does not work. It takes me to the screen to register (see attachment).

I've fixed it for you. Previously you have disabled this button: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-12-12_1039.png . I've enabled it and it is working now.
