I am getting this error "Model class easydiscussModelUser not found in file" when I click on an user from inside ED.

I have notices that this issue was also asked about in 2013. Here was the instructions:

Sorry for the late reply. Can you place the file i attached to these folder

JOOMLA/components/com_easydiscuss/models/user.php
JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/models/user.php

---

I did try this but it did not resolve the issue. Since this was from 2013, are their new instructions on resolving this issue?
Hi Chris Mathis,

May i know which is your current Easydiscuss version?

Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?

Yes I am using the latest version: Version: 3.2.9599

I also noticed that I am getting the Category error that was also posted at the same time in 2013:

Warning
Model class easydiscussModelCategory not found in file.

So I guess there are two issues. I will provide FTP info.

Thank you,

Hi Chris,

It seems like this plugin "System - K2" conflict with Easydiscuss, when i temporary disabled it, it work fine.

And

"System - K2" system plugin is used to assist the proper functionality of the K2 component site wide. Make sure it's always published when the K2 component is installed.

If it is Disabled, the site does not function at all. So I either have to redo the site/new template or remove EasyDiscuss. Will those errors "Warning
Model class easydiscussModelCategory not found in file and the user and the user.php error" hurt anything if I just ignored them?

The categories and users are still created.

Thoughts?

Thank you.

I sincerely appreciate you looking into this, thank you. But is this the correct answer though? K2 is a huge Joomla extension.

I would think that other users that have installed EasyDiscuss must have also come across this error? Is there a way to get K2 and EasyDiscuss to play nicely with each other?

Again, thank you...

HI Chris Mathis ,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

You're welcome. I've checked again.

Yes, actually you can ignore the warning message is because it will not harm anything from your site.

And I will see what we is the better solution to fix this conflict issues in the future.
