Hello Stackideas team!

I am getting the error: JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file

I looked into the forums and attempted to install through the tmp folder which is /home/trime123/public_html/dtvinc.com/tmp/easyblog/ after I extracted the files.

I just renewed my EasyBlog subscription today and downloaded the latest version. I am on Joomla! 3.3.6.

I'd love to learn from this experience. How did you fix it? I include EasyBlog on all of my proposals to clients and want to be sure I don't bug you with every install.

Hello Mary,

I didn't fix anything. What I did was re-download the installer file and install it in your site via Extension Manager.
