Can EasySocial or EasyDiscuss Users be defined by either a Joomla Group or Membership Pro subscription?

I am looking at one of thee, or else Kunena, as the programme to use.

Our membership system uses Membership Pro, so we'd want the forum Access to be defined by that. Membership Pro also signs users up to a special Joomla group called Subscribers, so we could also base forum access on that. I it is feasible, how would avatars (lodged in Membership Pro) be picked up by your forum programme?

I tried looking at /Discuss and /Social documentation, but the info I wanted was restricted.
