I have seen some people with the same issues in the forums, but those were related to a plug-in called Admin Tools. I don't have Admin Tools so I thought I would ask the question again. I just bought EasyBlog like minutes ago so I'm a total noob. When I try to upload an image to my first blog post using EasyBlog I get an HTTP Error. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Steven,

I have checked your site and it seems like your site hitting this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatefrompng()

I believe your site didn't enable/have GD. It is the minimum requirement for EasyBlog. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/zanV9rjGuf . You can further read here : EasyBlog Requirement

Can you consult with your web hosting provider regarding this and ask them to enable it for you.

Please advise.
Thanks.

Can you kindly provide us with backend access and FTP access so that we can assist you on this issue much quicker. It could be a different problem which can led to this.

Please advise.
Thanks.

Thank you for looking into this and sorry for not having the minimum requirements installed. I have installed gd using apt-get install php5-gd and now I get an error stating "Unable to parse server response"

Hi Steven,

Actually, it is the same error as before. I have checked your site and it seems like it seems like the GD still doesn't enable yet. You can checked it in your System > System Information > PHP Information. (search for GD) . You site should display this: http://screencast.com/t/1fmUnmR8o . May I ask, do you have restart the web server? If no, you need to restart it after you have install the GD.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.
