Hi guys

After I have added the custom URL field in profiles in ES and add a URL to it from my profil I get this error here:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

If I then remove the http:// and put www. instead it have not problems saving the changes.

RR
Hello,

Can you please provide us with the FTP access to the site please?

Hello,

Hm, just ran some tests and the problem seems to be from your hosting provider's layer because when I submit the form, before even reaching Joomla it seems to be hitting this Forbidden error. I have a feeling that your hosting provider may have added some sort of "anti spam" or security filter on the webserver's layer.

Can you check with them?

You are most welcome. Let me know how this goes as I am quite interested to know what was the cause of this.

Hi Mark

I got below message back from them.

My host is Rochen.

Thanks for the details. We have reproduced the issue and have submitted a request for an exception from our security vendor. We'll let you know the status of this request within 24-48 business hours (excluding weekends), thank you.

Hi Mark

A update into this. It has been tested, and it works now. If anybody else get the same error, please contact your host provider and have them to look into this, as this is related to your host and not EasySocial.

Hello,

I've followed the directions below and confirmed it's now allowing the http:// in these fields. Please let us know if you encounter any further issues. Thank you.
