Is there a solution that would allow the transmission of HTML formatted email for new posts? The current stripping of all formatting is not useful

I have tried using text email and there is no apparent difference. It is just a string of data.

Perhaps you can provide us with some screenshot with your email content about the issue?

And can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check?

Thank you for getting back to me. I have been changing this , trying to get some formatting into the email message and now I have created a second problem.

First - I have attached a notification for a post. As you can see there are not even line breaks and new paragraphs in the HTML. I do not really need any other formatting. The post is id 537.

Second - I have changed settings in the past couple of days so that it is no longer generating emails when I click on the notify button in the Blog Entries list. It was doing this OK, but somewhere I stopped this from working. Could you have a look at this too. There would be no sense in getting some formatting in the email, but not then being able to send it.

Can you try download my attached file and replace into this file location and see how it goes?

JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easyblog\includes\post\post.php (you need to generate a new email notification from your site.)

Hi Arlex, I have added the new file that you sent. It works! I thank you for that.

Could you have another look at the site and tell me why email is not being generated when I hit the *Notify* button for post 537? I need to send these notifications again. Thanks.
