how to ?
I wonder how works category email parser...
in general settings of eaysdiscuss I can see an email parser with settings (email, pwd, server, security, and cron task)... but in each category there is only email and password. No server settings and no instructions to know how email are incoming . cron task ?
Hi there,

The email parser mainly need to be setup in the settings>email parser and it will parse the email from your specific category. And yes it will run once your cron run

so how to put settings for each category ? is it only possible with same email domain for general settings and category settings.? See attachement

What I mean : is is possible to allow different emails, put them in each category, and add each mailbox email as a new post for each category. Please update documentation, there is no help about usage of email parser in category settings.

Yup, it is possible to do that. In order to do that, you can go to Backend > EasyDiscuss > Categories > 'Choose the category that you want' > General > Category email parser.

Attached screenshots are the example for a different category with a different email. Hope this helps.

Hey there,

Actually, it is beyond our support scope.

Based on what I know, different email client has its own spam algorithm. Maybe your mail client detects your header or content as a spam.

I just had a quick check on how to prevent emails from landing in Gmail's Spam Folder and how to mark spammed emails as not spam. You can refer the following links for reference:
