It seems that you have to assign/give permissions for your user group regarding moderation at Backend>Components>EasyDiscuss>Categories>*type of categories>Permission as shown http://prntscr.com/cqv6b4. Please give it a try and see how it goes .

I tried it and I put Super Users only because I wish the site admin can moderate posts but does not work.

As you can see from the screenshot I can not click on the question, where am I wrong?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Thanks for reported, it seems like we didn't make it the moderation post can editable from backend, I will log this issue from our issue tracker, we will include a better fix for this in next release version.

By the way, when the user submit a new discussion which under moderation, system will send an email notification to your site admin got new discussion submitted and under moderation, you can refer on my attached similar screenshot below.

I saw that you get that e-mail but I need to look at the discussion before publishing it and now I can not

You can actually check all the discussion content through the email, you can check my attached screenshot below.

By the way, I will report this to our developer to fix this in next release version.

So admin can able to check the moderation post content from backend.

I upgraded to the latest verisone of EasyDisucc and now inside "Post Under Moderation" I see name and age of the writer and I can change them, but it is a strange thing it happened.

I edited, saved and published in the "Post Under Moderation" dialogue "Perché non riesco più ad esprimermi?", But as a result there is no trace on the dialogue website

It seems like for some reason this table #__discuss_thread structure do not have auto increment for the id and causing this issue.

I already help you updated this table to have auto increment for the id, so it won't always store as id = 0 for every new discussion post.

Can you give it a check is it work fine now?

It remains exactly the problem that I reported in the mail last night:

the post "Desiderio sparito?" I modified and approved for publication, since yesterday is as published entering as administrator in the control panel (as shown on page http://www.studiokaleidos.it/administrator/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&view=posts) but not on the website there is no trace!

It seems like that is the problem after I fix it on your site from Friday night, after I run the maintenance script from backend, it should display that discussion post on your site.

In other word, when the new user post a new discussion on your site, it will happen :
1. this discussion will not appear on your frontend because this discussion still under moderation.
2. after admin approval this discussion, then this discussion only appear on frontend

Can you give it a check again is it everything work fine now?

I've tested following step in your site, it seems work fine for me but now I already disabled those test post from backend.

Test 1 :
- Submit a discussion post by guest
- approve this discussion post through the email notification

Test 2 :
- Submit a discussion post by guest
- approve this discussion post from backend > Easydiscuss > post > moderation

Can you give it a try and see how it goes?

If the issue still persists, can you provide us your step how to reproduce this?

I am bit lost here actually.
Did you meant that the older version for Easydiscuss is not update/saved after you done some modifications on your post? Please advice.

or did you meant that you wanted modify some content of your post and save it without publishing it first? If yes, it is not possible as the option is to "Approve & Publish" the post automatically.


or maybe you can explain us more regarding this and provide us with some screenshot or attachment for better view regarding this issues?

My client would like to receive notification of a new dialogue (and now is done perfectly), he then enters the dialogue to be published, if you want to edit it, and then publish it.
Now if you try to change the dialogue he is not taken his changes, but is published as it was sent, and only after it has been published can change it
