How to use an avatar on my own Komento?

Hi,

I am using Komento for my blog on http://www.fotograafgeldermalsen.nl/blog. I would like to use an avatar for my own profile. It just looks better, more professional. How can i upload an image? When i have to use an avatar from another platform (which i do not use at the moment), can you tell me what steps i have to take please?

Second question. When someone leaves a comment on my Komento, it says 'guest' and then the name. Is it possible that the word 'guest' will not appear but just the name. It also would look better.

Hi,

I dont understand you. Do you mean i have to buy a pro version? How do i get a valid subscription. My website developer made my website and the Blog and Komento functions were included.

Yes, if your developer purchased a valid subscription, please get them to use their own account to post questions on our support thread

My webdesigner uses the free version.

When i purchase a license for Komento. Can you then help me to upload the avatar (i dont know what steps to take) and to remove the word 'Guest' when someone leaves a comment on my blog using Komento?

Hello Joris,

I'm sorry for the confusion earlier. Komento does not has it's own avatar. You will need to use integration with other platform. For your case, I would suggest to use Gravatar integration where your user can upload their own avatar thru Gravatar acount.

For the removing Guest word, yes, I can help you remove it once you purchased the license.

Hi,

I already made a gravatar account but i dont know what to do next (i uploaded a picture there). I am using a Joomla website. Can this be the problem? Or is this easily fixed when i would purchase a Komento license?

Yes, if you have a license, we will help you on this issue. By the way, is your gravatar acount's email is the same as the user's email that comment on the Komento? The email has to be the same so that Komento can get the avatar from Gravatar based on the user's email.
