I have installed EasyBlog 5.0.5 and am very pleased with it.

Just one thing that needs to be asked.

I notice in the back end control panel that it states:

Installed Version: 5.0.5
Latest Version: 4.0

Now I know from looking at your website that the latest version is 5.0.7 and that version 4.0 was never released, so the obvious question is how does one move from 5.0.5 to 5.0.7 without running the installer again?
Hi Geoff Chapman,

Thanks for reporting, we will fix this in next release version.

Regarding with your update question, unfortunately that was not possible at this point of time, currently only available download the launcher or full installer zip file from http://stackideas.com/dashboard then install from backend extension manager.

That's OK, it wasn't high priority.

Just saying this reference to Version 4.0 being the latest is still showing back-end after update to 5.0.8.

"Installed Version: 5.0.8 / Latest Version: 4.0"

Just an update to say that all the associated problems I have seen with this topic are now resolved, hence I am accepting your earlier answer.
