Does anyone know how a user can unsubscribe from Group email notifications.
I have members who are accepted into an EasySocial group, but don't want an email notification everytime someone posts in the group.
They either want NO notifications, or they want daily or weekly summary emails.
Is there any option for this or must all my members drown in email?
Hi,

The user can change the notification settings in their "notifications settings".
They can turn on / off the notifications by e-mail and by the system.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Danny. Do you mean index.php/editprofile/editNotifications ?
If so, I don't think that offers settings for EACH Group. So you would have to turn off notifications for ALL groups, even if it is JUST one group that is noisy. I need settings for individual groups and/or group categories.

Hi Norske,

That was indeed what I was referring to.
As far as I know a user can't determine the setting per group. At least I have not seen this option.

Hello Norske,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Unfortunately the only way to disable/unsubscribe group notification is from the privacy setting that Danny mentioned in his replies. Currently there is no setting to disable notification from specific group.
