Hello,
I used to be an admin for a site using Easy Blog, but now I am not. However, I still receive multiple emails for "new blog post pending" and would like to turn it off. Can you please advise me on how to remove my email address from this automatic mailing system for new blog posts?

Thank you.
Hello Joe,

The New Blog Post notification is not only meant for Admin. Even if you are not admin, you have the possibilities to receive the email based on this setting: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-05_1703.png in Easyblog>Settings>Notification. Hope this helps.

Hi Geoffrey Walker,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Can you try purge all the pending email from your backend > Easyblog > email activity then try publish a new blog post and see is it still generate new blog post email notification from the email activity page?

if yes, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTp access so we can better have a look of this?

Yes, I discovered that it was backlogged emails only sending 5 at a time on page load.

Thanks!

Hi Geoffrey Walker,

You're welcome.

If you do not want to receive the email notification, you can directly disable this setting from your backend > Easyblog > setting > notification > send email on page load - NO
