I found a setting under settings-Layout-Post_options called "Show More Posts ".
I turned this off but it had no effect.
Please advise.
Hello,

I believe you want EasyBlog -> Settings -> Layout -> Post Options (tab) -> The "Author" box on this tab has an option "Show More Posts" with radio button to Hide or Show (default Show)

Hope this helps you!!

You're welcome, yes I read your post.
Reason I posted response is I tried it and it did exactly what you're trying to achieve on my site, so I am sorry to waste your time but I suppose you may have a bug or otherwise need to clear your browser cache (or reload page with Ctrl+F5).

Good luck!

No problems. Thanks for trying to help. Yes, it must be a but as I have cleared J! cache as well as browser cache.
Will wait to hear from the developer.

Hello,

I'm sorry for the delay. Can I have your backend and FTP access here so I can check on the issue?

Hello Gilles,

I'm sorry but did you mean this section: http://screencast.com/t/jlkf0BDKHcP4 , If so, you might want to turn off this option: http://screencast.com/t/B7gfXfBQnBMY in Settings>Layout>Post Options. Hope this helps.

Hi.
What you're indicating in the screenshot is not not what I'm referring to. Please review my query. I'm referring to the "More posts"... not "Recent posts".

If you look at the screenshot you provided, you'll see the link/text "More posts from author" at the end of the line where the author photo is displayed. This is what I"m trying to remove. Changing the setting in the backend (review this forum post) doesn't affect it.

I hope to hear from you soon as this is another issue which is dragging on.
Cheers,
G

Hi Gilles,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like you have created single menu item for most of the blog posts on your site hence the settings will follow the settings from the menu item itself. I've change the settings from menu item "blog" to turn off "more posts from author" and it should be displaying correctly now, http://screencast.com/t/kyKPulPsg2he .

Thanks Ezrul,

As you may have seen in another post, using the "single post" menu item is not my preference but I am forced to use this method in order to display the full comments on the page.

This is because unfortunately EasyBlog does not provide an option to display full comment listings when using "Front page blog layout". One would think it wouldn't be too difficult to include this functionality in Front Page blog layout.

As a result, whenever a new post is created our users must edit the Single Post menu item to link it to the latest post.

Any chance the "Front page layout" could be modified in the next minor release to include the option of listing full comments?

Cheers,

Hi Gilles,

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately our developers are currently in full hand with the development of easysocial 1.4 and I'm afraid we cannot implement this option quickly in the next release of easyblog. Perhaps you can put this idea inside our easyblog voices page instead so we can follow up easily later on.
