I had a user enter a question in EasyDiscuss and entered @_@ which only has a title as _

Can I create rules to stop users from entering certain characters and min/max character limit This is major issue I need to resolve.

Also from entering http or ftp or https links.

Thanks
You're welcome

We will see if we can push this new option in next release version.

Hello,

That's actually a valid character and I think what you are searching for is probably the "minimum length" of a title. Imagine if your post has a question like this "Hitting error @line 72"

hey there,

Unfortunately currently we do not have setting to set minimum title character from the ask question form.

But you can try download my attached file and replace into this file location and see how it goes?

JoomlaFolder\components\com_easydiscuss\themes\wireframe\ask\default.js

Currently I set the title length required more than 20 characters, if you would like to set more, you can refer on my attached screenshot below and see which line of code you can change it.

Thanks Arlex!

This will change during an update, can you add the option to the configuration possibly? It's simply a great idea and I use it since you get some lazy people entering 1 character at times :-), would be very nice to have this option available including bad characters.
