Hello guys,

I just wanted to ask you if there`s possible to make joomla stop inserting canonical tags for easyblog because they are simply wrong, and also having two canonical tags for a page it`s simply bad, here what joomla inserts as canonical:

<link href="http://www.domain.com/blog/latest/Page-2/" rel="canonical" /> ( wrong )

and here what easyblog inserts as canonical:

<link rel="canonical" href="http://www.domain.com/blog/latest/"/> ( which I think is the correct one )

Regards
Hello Barbu,

Unfortunately there's no way to stop this unless you turn off the "System - SEF" plugin. However, if you do turn this off, you might face issues if your images are stored in a relative path. I guess the best way is to hack this system plugin file :P
