How to stop cross posting hidden EasyDiscuss categories into the activity stream

Hi,
I have Easy Discuss and Easy Social. When I react in Social to a post in Discuss that is a category that other users can't see (It's our staff discussion category) it's allowing others to see the reaction in their social feed along with the truncated part of the post.

How do I make sure the categories that users don't have access to are also protected in the social feed?

Hi Jonathan,

It looks like currently the privacy of EasyDiscuss stream items is determined by the actor's following ES privacy setting(http://take.ms/pEKdC).

It does make sense to respect the category's permission settings. I will log this issue in our tracker so we can improve the privacy behavior for EasyDiscuss stream items.

For now, if you really do not want to display the stream items to everyone, you should prevent these stream items from being created at EasyDiscuss>Settings>Integration>EasySocial.
