hey manuel,
if you're using wireframe as your template you can define this in the theme settings.
go to easysocial backend -> themes -> wireframe -> profile and set "display profile type" to yes

Thank you for your help, it usually would help but I use the new frosty theme and it looks like that is does not work in all themes, as you said.

yeah, frosty doesn't have that option.

I'm attaching you a modified profile file, upload this to your template overrides folder at yourtemplate/html/com_easysocial/profile and with some magic you might see the profile type showing up on your site even with frosty
