We have a page with a number of team blogs, each representing a group within our organisation. In every page presenting one specific group, we want to show a Post List containing only entries from this group's team blog.

The only way I can do this now, seems to be to create a category structure where the groups should select the category for their group. But we want to have a structure of other things, where the team blogs feature represents geographical reference.

Is there a way to show a post list from only one specific Team Blog?
Hey Amema,

You could simply create a menu item that links to the single team blog page. This way, clicking on the menu will display the list of blog posts from the particular team. Do you intend to display them in a module?

If you look at esperantonordio.org/nova you'll see a Post List module in green (called "Senaste blogginläggen"). This shows all the latest posts.

This page will be the start page for our organisation. Every local group and club in this national organisation will have it's own page with info. Check out Norrköping http://esperantonordio.org/nova/norrkoping (as this is the one group we've been working on mostly).

You will see a module called Norrköping with two lines and flags in the stead of a Post List module.

We would like to have a Post List in the same manner at the top of every local group's page, where only the posts from it's own team blog are visible.

Is it possible to create this?

Hi Amema,

I am sorry for the late reply for this. You can try using the Team Blogs Module (refer this screen shot: http://screencast.com/t/pvaJxye7Nb ) by:
1.Click Extensions->Modules->Team Blogs Module

Thank you for the tip, but it does not solve my problem.

1) With Latest post module, I get a small module that isn't intruding, plus it saves real estate on the page. (See attached Latest post module) This is what I would like, but with the possibility to filter on teams.

On the front page that is very good because visitors can see all new posts. But we use a structure with almost 20 very similar sub-pages for different clubs scattered throughout our country. The members of the clubs will mostly be interested in what happens in their own club. For this reason, I would like to have the same type of module, but a short list of the latest post by that club/team.

2) The Team blogs module shows all teams, and that I don't want to show on a local club's page. That is good for the Front page.

3) The only other means seems to be the Latests Blogs module, where it is possible to select specific IDs for team blogs. (See attached Latest Blogs-ForOneSpecificTeam) But, this module shows date and title of post with pretty big font, and it totally breaks the layout of the page if I would have more than 1 post in the list. We would like to have at least the 5 latest posts for a specific team.

Both the Team blogs module and the Latest Post module are "simple" modules where I cannot filter anything. Whereas in the Latest Blogs module it's possible to filter all sorts of things, but this module is not as sleek and useful as the Latest post module.

So, what I would like is a Latest post module behaving as a Latest Blogs module.

Hey Amema,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Do you mean you would like to show specific teamblog into similar post listing module?

If yes, unfortunately that was not possible in current system. But you can achieve in latest blog module as you mentioned at above, you also can get rid of all the blog content/comment/avatar/image and etc from the module setting, if you would like to make the title font size to smaller, we can use custom css to make it become smaller.

Looking forward of your response.

'Yes, exactly' to your response in image 1738.

For module Latest Blogs, there are several filters, but not for Latest Posts. But the layout of Latests Post saves so much space and is possible to have on top of content. Latest Blogs is mostly usable for side menus.

If it isn't possible to fix it soon in any way, I'd like to add this to a wish list.

Thank you,

Hey Amema,

Let me get this correctly, you want to display a list of recent blog posts in a dropdown list for a specific team blog. Is this what you want? I will add this into our issue tracker and we'll try to add a new settings in the "EasyBlog List Module" to allow you to filter by specific teams.
