Well, most times yes.

Anyhow, I lsetup a new user in the backend, logged out on the frontend and then logged in with the new regular user.

I then made my "first posting".

This was saved, but I am getting an error message --> see screenshot. (JUser: :_load: Error while loading the user with the ID: 27

And the post is also published, it is not hold back for moderation.

It seems like the option "Moderate New Posts" isn't enabled, http://take.ms/NqhLc. It needs to be enabled. I have enabled it and it is working fine now, http://take.ms/MRGw4

Thanks. I have seen that setting, but didnt activate it.
The tooltip says, all posts will be moderated including the new ones.

So this implies to me that all posting will allways be moderated.

Maybe I the tooltip is confusing, or I simply missunderstood.

So I hope that only the first 3 posts will be moderated now, then not anymore...

Yep, that is correct. You can try posting 3 posts as a normal user, and after approving all these 3 posts, the subsequent post would not be moderated again.
