How to setup a moderator specific to a category

Hi there, this is a basic enough questions to be honest. I want to assign a moderator to a specific category in easydiscuss 4 and I cannot figure out how to be honest? Basically each time a new question is posted to that category I want them to get a notification and handle it from there?

It should really be pretty straightforward, but let me outline the steps for you below:

1. Go to the categories at the back end of EasyDiscuss

2. Click on the "Permission" tab.

3. Click on the "Moderate" tab, and select which user groups are allowed to moderate the category.

I have done this Mark, however I want to assign a specific user not an entire user group? This is what I see and I do not see where i can choose the user who should moderate this category? : http://recordit.co/wucmSnEWH3

Not possible to achieve this currently. You need to assign the user to the user group that you want

I think I am confused here Mark so apologies if I am missing something. All I want here is for a user called Ron in my site to moderate a category called International Trade. Is there not a way to make sure he can do this?

The only way you can assign "Ron" to moderate "International Trade" is to create a new user group in Joomla, and assign Ron into this user group.

After that, select the new user group in the "Moderate" section for the category as outlined in my previous reply.
