How to Set Default Sort Order of Posts in a Category?

Hi guys - I was surprised I could find no answer to this in the EasyDiscuss documentation.

New posts to a category seem to be appearing rather randomly. Where in the Settings can I set it so that all discussions in a category sort according to newest?
Hello Lynn,

By default, the listing is sorted by latest post. Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here?

Well, first, take a look here as its a live site. I gave credentials previously to Mark. There was a problem before with the plugin that turns articles into discussions.

Hello Lynn,

I've fixed it for you in this file: ../components/com_easydiscuss/models/posts.php. By default, sort by latest means it sort the discussion by latest replied. I've changed it to sort it by latest created date.

Thanks Nick!

Id like to strongly recommend that its possible to set the sort on a category to category basis - ideally a pop up with various options. I can really see how in some circumstances, Sort by Latest Replied or Sort by Latest Created Date could be really useful. Any chance you could get that into an update?
