The only way modify this, you have to edit the blog post then click on that image which you would like to change.

Maybe I was not very clear.
I am talking about the file name and not the description/caption of the image.
As far as I can see clicking "Change" takes me to a screen where I can change/swap the image with another.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply. Unfortunately, there is no setting to change the filename currently, and for the change button is actually functioned as to change the image not the image filename.

Can you think of any other way of doing this?
JCE Media manager might do the job but it seems a shame to fork out 30$ to rename some files.
