How to remove the search bar when asking a question?

Hi guys,

I'm using the latest version of Easydiscuss with Joomla 3.1.5.

When a user clicks to ask a question, the search bar is still visible on the page. Is there a way to remove the search bar when the user is asking a question? In this forum you've actually achieved this exact feature that I'm looking for.

The search bar distracts the user from the ask a question box and the user becomes confused with what box to use.

Please replace the attached file in this folder: ../components/com_easydiscuss/themes/simplistic/toolbar.php. Hope this helps.

Hello Tony,

This can be done by editing the php file. May I know what theme are you using? Because some themes using different php file. Please advise.
